Product architecture
Roles, modules, data model, user flows, MVP boundaries and a plan for further development.
PRODUCT / WEB ENGINEERING
I design websites, shops, panels and operational tools, from information architecture to the backend, database, containers and production deployment.
APPROACH
An application should support a specific task: booking an appointment, handling an order, configuring routing, publishing a project or reporting. That is why design begins with flows, roles and data.
The visual layer, API, data model, authorisation, file uploads and administrative operations are designed together. This avoids an attractive frontend without a secure or convenient backend.
Code is delivered with containerisation, health checks, a reverse proxy and update instructions, so the product can be maintained and developed after its first release.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE
The scope follows your goal and the current state of the environment. We can start with a single issue or a complete project.
Roles, modules, data model, user flows, MVP boundaries and a plan for further development.
Responsive interfaces, accessibility, error states, forms, galleries, search and a consistent component system.
Authorisation, business rules, databases, files, payment integrations and communication with external services.
Management of content, users, statuses, reports, configuration and operational processes.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
A deployment should be verifiable, maintainable and safe to develop further.
A product description, user roles, screen map and feature backlog.
A responsive frontend with empty states, error handling and keyboard accessibility.
A backend, API and data model with validation and access control.
An administration panel tailored to everyday operation of the process.
Docker, Nginx, environment configuration and production deployment instructions.
HOW I WORK
I map users, goals, flows, data and the boundaries of the first release.
I design the information structure, components and contracts between the frontend and backend.
I build the product in vertical slices so the entire process can be tested early.
I containerise the application, configure production, run a smoke test and prepare for further development.
WHEN IT HELPS
You do not need a finished specification. A specific problem, risk or desired outcome is enough.
FAQ
Yes. An MVP should cover the most important process end to end, without features that are not yet needed for validation or everyday use.
Yes. The panel is designed alongside public features, so managing data, statuses, users and content does not require manual database work.
Yes, where appropriate for the project. The package can include a Dockerfile, Compose, a health check, environment variables, update scripts and Nginx configuration.
Yes. The architecture and documentation are prepared so that further modules can be added without rewriting the entire application.
NEXT STEP
Describe the users, the biggest problem and the most important outcome. From there, we can define the MVP, architecture and a sensible sequence of stages.
