THE CHALLENGE
Build trust while simplifying the path to an appointment.
A practice website needs to be calm, readable and credible, while offering more than a basic online business card. Users should quickly understand the support available, appointment formats and next steps.
The project required service information, the specialist's profile, booking, FAQs and contact to form one logical flow. Responsiveness and ease of use on a phone were also important.
Technically, the website needed to be deployable on its own VPS, with a secure form, reverse proxy, certificate and room for later panel development.
Create a website that guides visitors from their first information to contact or booking, without pressure, unclear steps or unnecessary content overload.
SCOPE AND DECISIONS
What was designed, and why.
The functional scope is presented alongside decisions that affect everyday use and future product development.
- 01
Information architecture and a hierarchy of psychological services.
- 02
A responsive homepage with services, about, FAQ and contact sections.
- 03
A booking process for online or in-person appointments.
- 04
Forms with validation and protection of user data.
- 05
Containerisation, Nginx, TLS and an update procedure.
A calm visual language
A muted palette, generous space and readable typography support trust rather than aggressive selling.
Calls to action in context
Appointment booking appears at the main decision points, without dominating the content.
Content as part of the process
Services, working methods, FAQs and contact details answer the questions that often prevent an initial enquiry.
Independent deployment
Docker and Nginx provide predictable deployment and room for expansion without dependence on an off-the-shelf CMS.
ARCHITECTURE
Product layers and their responsibilities.
The architecture is described in functional terms to make clear where logic, data, integrations and operations belong.
- 01
User's browser → responsive frontend and forms.
- 02
Nginx → TLS termination, domain redirects and reverse proxy.
- 03
Application container → website, booking and contact logic.
- 04
Data layer → appointment availability, messages and configuration.
- 05
Deployment scripts → health checks, updates and rollback.
SELECTED SCREENS

The screenshots show the appearance and how users are guided through the main tasks.
