THE CHALLENGE
Bring the character of handmade products into a convenient shopping experience.
Handmade products need large photographs, clear variants and space to describe their details. At the same time, the shop must remain fast, easy to use on a phone and ready for promotions and changing availability.
Alongside the public shop, tools were needed to manage products, galleries, prices, stock, orders, shipping and informational content.
The architecture needed to support further integrations for payments, newsletters and social channels without rebuilding the shop's core processes.
Combine the brand's delicate character with a complete, predictable process from browsing the catalogue to handling an order.
SCOPE AND DECISIONS
What was designed, and why.
The functional scope is presented alongside decisions that affect everyday use and future product development.
- 01
A catalogue with categories, filters, sorting and promotion labels.
- 02
Product pages with galleries, prices, availability and variants.
- 03
A basket, delivery details, payment and order statuses.
- 04
A panel for products, orders, promotions, shipping and shop settings.
- 05
A newsletter, legal content, SEO and deployment preparation.
Products take centre stage
The interface is light and calm so the colours and textures of the pieces remain the main focus.
A catalogue without overload
Categories, prices and new or promotional labels are accessible without competing with the product card.
Operations after purchase
The order and status model was designed alongside the customer journey, rather than added later.
Modular development
Payments, providers, newsletters and reports have clear boundaries, making them easier to replace or expand.

Product layers and their responsibilities.
The architecture is described in functional terms to make clear where logic, data, integrations and operations belong.
